Yes parents, your kid can become a pilot at 17 (the minimum age per FAA regulations), and yes, they can start flight training at any age.
If your youth is between 13 and 15, I will donate my flight instruction rate and time ($120 value). You will still be responsible for the plane rental, fuel and any expenditures needed in the furtherance for the flight.
